Introduction nitrogen gas spring The tool and die nitrogen gas spring (nitrogen gas cylinder or gas spring) is using the nitrogen gas pressure creates a force that is proportional to the surface area on which it makes contact. The piston rod in the gas spring is used as a spring element.
